The app is currently waiting for review at both Apple and Google. Once accepted they will be rolled out automatically. Please look out for the latest version in a day or two.

The updated SwimClub Manager Mobile App is designed to deliver the same robust experience you love on the web, right in the palm of your hand. Here’s what you can expect:

• Full Feature Parity: Every tool and function available on the web app is now accessible on mobile. From managing memberships and scheduling events to tracking payments and communicating with your club, it’s all here.
• Enhanced Performance: The new app is faster, more responsive, and optimized for seamless use on both iOS and Android devices.
• On-the-Go Convenience: Whether you’re at the pool, in the office, or on the move, you can now manage your swim club with the same level of control and efficiency as you do on the web.

This release ensures that you’re no longer limited by a simplified mobile experience. The new app empowers you to run your club with the full power of SwimClub Manager, no matter where you are.

How to Get Started

The updated SwimClub Manager Mobile App is available now! If you already have the app installed, simply update it through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). New users can download it directly from these platforms.

Once installed, log in with your existing SwimClub Manager credentials, and you’ll be ready to explore the full suite of features at your fingertips.

Invoices

The invoices page now includes the invoice period title for each invoice.

This update will be released through the Apple AppStore and the Google Play Store in due course.

Genders

2 new fields have been added to member details:

• Sex at birth
• Competition gender

Invoices

If you have Stripe enabled, when a member taps the “Pay Now” button on the invoice details page, they are now taken to a secure page to enter their card details instead of entering them in the app.

Note: This update will appear in the IOS App Store and the Google Play store once they have been reviewed.

Events

When viewing an event, if the event has a “Host Webpage Link” set, it is now displayed above the map.

Note: This will be an update via the iOS app store and Google Play store.

Club kit

If a product has options that are out of stock, they are now disabled to stop them from being available for ordering.

Invoices

If a member has a direct debit mandate assigned to their account, the app will not let them pay for an invoice via credit/debit card if it is set to be collected via GoCardless.

Members

When you make a member inactive, the app now automatically logs them out.

This update will become available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in due course.

Invoices

Bug fix – When trying to pay an invoice via credit/debit card sometimes an error was shown stating that the security code submitted was invalid.

This will be an available update in the Apple AppStore and Google Play store once Apple and Google have reviewed the update.

Attendance

Bug fix – When adding attendance, it no longer lists coaches that are set as inactive.

Incident Book

If a member does not have the “Manage All Incidents” permission, they can only see their own incidents. This behaviour now matches the web-version.

Note: This is an “over the air” update and your mobile device will update itself automatically. There will be NO update via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Viewing Members

Bug fix – In some circumstances, users with the correct permissions were not able to view the Emergency Details or Extra Details tabs when viewing a member.

Attendance

Bug fix – When adding attendance, if the session in question has “No Session Dates” set, the app now does not display the session if the attendance date is within those dates.

Most of the updates are “behind the scenes”, but here are some of the more notable new features.

Dark Mode

One of the most obvious enhancements is the addition of Dark Mode. The app automatically switches between light and dark mode depending on what your device settings are.

Calendar

We have totally changed the calendar page and added extra calendar views. Now, you can view Day, Week and Month view.

Attendance

When you are adding attendance, you can now tap the “Add One-off” and “List Swimmers” labels, as well as the icon to go to the next page. A small change but one that will make it easier for you.

Dates

We have also added a brand new date picker to all date fields. This makes it mush easier to browse forward and backwards through dates, as well as tapping the year to change the year.

How to Update

This update will roll out via the Apple Appstore and the Google Play Store so look out for an update notification.

Emails
Bug fix – You can now download email attachments.

You can now download media attachments for club feed items.

General
If you remove a member’s username, when they next use the app they are automatically logged out.

Code of Conducts
Bug fix – When you acknowledge a code of conduct it now works as expected.

This update will be available in the app stores.

Code of Conduct
Any unacknowledged codes of conduct now appear at the top of the dashboard, with a button to click to acknowledge them.

Note: This app update will happen “over the air” but you must be on version 3.6.0 (available in the app stores).

Club Feed
The club feed is now accessible from the app.

Please note: This is an “over the air” update and your device will automatically update. Do not re-install from the app stores.

Progress Reports
You can now update progress reports directly in the app. Wherever there was a link to download a progress report, there is now an icon to view it.

Learn To Swim Attendance
When editing previously added attendance or non attendance, the app now adjusts the counters in the footer.

Incidents
You can now add/view/update incidents.

Note: This version will update “over the air” so there will be no updates to install in the app stores.

Forgot Password
Bug fix – The email you receive when you use the forgot password function is now no longer blank.

Invoices
When you view a paid invoice, the invoice payments are now listed below the invoice details.

Note: This version will update “over the air” so there will be no updates to install in the app stores.

Invoices
You can now tap to view an invoice and pay it directly via credit/debit card, if your club has setup Stripe integration.

If you have a direct debit setup, and you view a paid invoice that was paid via direct debit, you will now see the GoCardless events below the invoice details.

Club Kit
Bug fix – When ordering a product that has an option with an extra price assigned, the order details now lists the correct currency sign for the product option.

The product images are now swipable to reveal the other images (in a horizontal carousel).

Calendar
The user’s coaching rota is now included on their calendar page.

Search
The member’s DOB is now shown on the search results page.

View Member Details
SE number is now displayed on the member’s basic details tab.

Notifications
You now receive app notifications when you receive emails via SCM.

Club Kit Orders
If you have the “Force direct debit collection for club kit” option set in SCM, then the app now hides the direct debit collection option and forces it to yes on the associated invoice.

Event Swimmers
If the member does not have permission to view member medical details, then the red medical flag notification is hidden for members with medical conditions.

When you tap the flag, the swimmer’s medical details will be shown.

Events
When you are viewing the events page, current events are listed in start date ascending order. When you tap the “View past events” button they are listed in start date descending order.

Club Events
Bug fix – If the event in SCM is set to not show swimmers, this is now reflected in the app.

Search Bar
Added a search button that submits your search when tapped.

Bug fix – The events page now correctly hides past events until you tap the “View past events” button.

HTML emails are now displayed better.

Learn To Swim
You can now add learn to swim attendance.

Calendar
Bug fix – The calendar now shows the correct session times.

The calendar now displays the same events as on the “My Calendar” in the main application.

Invoices
The invoice list now lists in due date descending order for paid invoices.

Club Features
When you turn off club features in the main system, that is now reflected in the app.

Club Events
Bug fix – There was a loop when you clicked the “Back” button on the view event page that just kept you going from the events page and back to the event details page each time you tapped it.

Swimming
Typo – On the “Swimming” page accessed via the dashboard, it now correctly says “You have no fees to view” if there are no club fees assigned to any of your swimmers.

Publishing Updates
We can now push incremental updates “over the air” without us having to submit to the app stores for each release.
